our MISSION STATEMENT
Emerald Basketball Association is committed to developing a junior representative program designed in developing young players skills necessary to reach their full potential as basketball players. Emerald Basketball coaches emphasize developing the complete player and working on the fundamentals of the game. This is important for today’s basketball player to succeed. The coach’s knowledge, experience and leadership skills give players the opportunity to take their game to the next level.

• Emerald Basketball is a non-profit organisation which provides opportunity for young people to improve their basketball skills.

• Provide both boys and girls of all ages, race, and skill level, the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals.

• Providing a safe and caring environment.

• It is the association’s belief that basketball is an ideal avenue to teach attributes such as sportsmanship, discipline, cooperation, competition, self-confidence, and teamwork.

• Emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of sportsmanship form an early age.

• To focus on basic fundamental drills and progress into high intensity game-like drills.

• Strive to prepare our athletes for the next level of competition.

• Provide training to the committed athlete so that they are achieving their highest level of skill possible.

• To teach great discipline and consistency in athletes.
